Opis
Wonli Scroll Storytelling is a visual editor for creating scroll-driven experiences on WordPress pages.
Use existing page elements as actors, apply scroll effects, control when those effects happen in the Timeline and preview the result before publishing. Wonli handles scroll behaviour without replacing your existing page content or becoming a separate page builder.
Live Demo: scroll-controlled Image Sequence
Individual technical support is not included with the Free plugin. Guides and documentation are available on the Wonli website. Technical support is included with an active Wonli Scroll Storytelling Pro subscription.

Included in Free
- Flow mode
- Pinned mode
- 7 Core Effects
- Image Sequence
- Visual Timeline
- Multiple actors and effects
- Desktop, tablet and mobile controls
- Automatic responsive adaptation
- Undo, Redo and Autosave
The 7 Core Effects are Horizontal Movement, Vertical Movement, Zoom, Rotation, Opacity / Fade, Blur and Orbit. Free does not impose commercial quotas on animations, actors or effects, and requires no account or license.
Image Sequence
Image Sequence links ordered images to scroll progress. Combine it with actors, effects and timing to create product sequences, visual transitions and scroll-controlled scenes. Optional cinematic flash transitions are available. Image Sequence is included in Free.
A new sequence occupies the full Timeline; the editor preserves intervals you deliberately adjust. Its progress is uniform, without a separate acceleration curve. Use consistent image dimensions and aspect ratios. Optional local optimization preserves originals and requires GD or Imagick with WebP support.
Optimization creates one global optimized set sized for the largest enabled screen, not separate image collections for each device.
Pinned mode
Pinned keeps a scene in place while its effects progress with scroll. Pinned is included in Free.
Flow mode
Flow applies effects while the page continues through its normal document flow. Flow is included in Free.
Responsive behaviour
Wonli supports desktop, tablet and mobile configurations. Responsive values can be adapted automatically while allowing device-specific adjustments. Review the actual page at every enabled size; automatic adaptation is a starting point, not a guarantee that every layout needs the same settings.
Works with existing page content
Finish and save the page in its builder before configuring animations. Select an existing block, then eligible elements inside it as actors. The page builder remains responsible for content and layout.
Dedicated adapters cover the WordPress block editor, Elementor, WPBakery, Divi 5 and Bricks. Unsupported, repeated or ambiguous elements may be excluded rather than modified unsafely. Compatibility testing does not certify every theme, add-on, physical device or hosting environment.
Keep one animation editor open and close the page builder while configuring it. Concurrent editors can produce conflicting drafts or change source elements. If the page changes later, review the affected blocks, actors and animations.
Timing and movement
The Timeline controls when effects start and end. Acceleration controls how an ordinary effect progresses inside its own interval; its custom curve provides precise control. Scroll response controls how the animation follows scrolling. These controls serve different purposes.
Compatible effects can overlap on an actor or occupy separate intervals. The editor prevents adding a second effect of the same type to one actor. Apply or Done in a media guide prepares changes; Save effect or Update effect saves them in the draft. Publish changes updates the public animation.
What can you create?
Use Free for scroll animations, scrollytelling, image sequences, pinned scenes, product presentations, editorial storytelling, interactive sections and visual landing pages.
Optional Wonli Scroll Storytelling Pro add-on
Wonli Scroll Storytelling Pro is a separate optional add-on distributed outside WordPress.org. It adds:
- Scroll Video
- Long Story mode
- Horizontal Scroll mode
- Presets
- History
- Technical Support through the official Wonli Support area, with an active subscription
Free remains fully functional with all its included features without Pro. Pro requires the compatible Free plugin to remain active. Horizontal Scroll runs on eligible desktop screens; tablets and phones keep the original vertical page layout.

Privacy and accessibility
The Free plugin communicates with the site’s own WordPress REST API and does not require a licensing account or send usage telemetry to Wonli. The separately installed Pro add-on has its own Freemius licensing integration.
Animations are stored in the WordPress database. Optional image optimization creates local Media Library derivatives. Reduced-motion handling removes cinematic flashes and avoids motion where required. Original page content remains available when an animation cannot run safely.
Support
Guides and documentation are available on the official Wonli website. Individual technical support is not included with Free. Technical support through the official Wonli Support area requires an active Wonli Scroll Storytelling Pro subscription; it is not a prerequisite for using Free.

Najczęściej zadawane pytania
-
What is included in Free?
-
Flow, Pinned, the 7 Core Effects, Image Sequence, the Timeline, responsive controls, automatic responsive adaptation, Undo, Redo and Autosave.
-
Does Wonli replace my page builder?
-
No. It adds scroll behaviour to eligible elements already present on your page.
-
Can I create multiple animations and use multiple actors and effects?
-
Yes. You can create independent animations on the same page. Free has no commercial quotas on their number, actors or effects; structural and compatibility checks still apply.
-
Is Image Sequence included in Free?
-
Yes, including its guided configuration and optional cinematic flash transitions.
-
Is Scroll Video included in Free?
-
No. Scroll Video belongs to the separate optional Wonli Scroll Storytelling Pro add-on.
-
Is technical support included with Free?
-
Individual technical support is not included. Guides and documentation are available; individual technical support requires an active Wonli Scroll Storytelling Pro subscription.
-
Does editing immediately change the public animation?
-
No. Edits remain in the draft until you choose Publish changes.
-
What happens if I do not renew Pro?
-
Previously published Pro animations continue with the installed version while both required plugins remain active. Without an active subscription you cannot create, edit or republish Pro features, receive Pro updates or access technical support. Renewal restores access to retained data and Pro authoring. Future compatibility with WordPress, PHP, browsers and page builders cannot be guaranteed for a version that no longer receives updates.
-
Are animations deleted when I uninstall?
-
No. Saved animations and revisions are preserved. To remove them deliberately, use Wonli’s animation management before uninstalling. Original page elements and media are not deleted. Deactivating or removing a required runtime plugin stops the animations that depend on it.
