Widgeteer – AI Form Builder

Opis

Widgeteer is your agent marketeer and engineer. It doesn’t just create crisp marketing material such as FAQs and before-and-after sliders, it also builds fully working forms. Receive an instant email on every submission, or pass submissions on to Zapier, n8n and more. Countdown timer? Product feedback form? Product recommendation quiz? It does all that and more.

  • Create working forms, FAQ sections or „whatever” using AI.
  • All done for you: no setup, no keys needed. Join and generate.
  • No tech, no config, no code. This is our job, not yours.
  • Made in, and supported from, Britain 🇬🇧

What you can build

  • Contact, callback and appointment request forms
  • Newsletter and waiting-list sign-ups
  • Product feedback forms and recommendation quizzes
  • FAQ sections, countdown timers and before-and-after sliders
  • Restaurant menus, price lists and other content cards
  • Surveys, ratings and multi-step questionnaires

How it works

  1. Install and activate the plugin, then open Widgeteer in your dashboard menu.
  2. Enter your email address. We send you a one-time code, so there is no password to remember.
  3. Describe the widget you want, or pick an idea from the prompt library, and press Generate.
  4. Want a change? Tell Widgeteer what to change, such as „add a phone number field”, and it updates the widget for you.
  5. Add it to any page with the Widgeteer AI Widget block, or paste its shortcode.
  6. Choose what happens when someone submits: an email to you, or a hand-off to Zapier, n8n and other tools.

Everything in one place

  • See every submission, and whether it was delivered, without leaving WordPress.
  • Works on single sites and on multisite networks.

Pricing

The plugin is free and nothing inside it is locked. Widgeteer itself is a hosted service, and what you can do each month depends on your plan with that service.

Free

  • 3 widgets
  • 3 AI edits per widget
  • 2 actions or integrations
  • 100 submissions per month

Premium, $8.70 per month

  • 50 widgets
  • 25 AI edits per widget
  • 10 actions or integrations
  • Unlimited submissions
  • Fan-making support

Plan limits are applied by the Widgeteer service, not by the plugin. When you reach one, the plugin shows the service’s message and a link to see the plans.

Plans and payment are handled in the Widgeteer web app at app.widgeteer.ai, never inside your WordPress dashboard. Sign in there with the same email address you connected in the plugin and you land on the same account.

External services

Widgeteer is a hosted service, and this plugin connects your site to it. The plugin cannot work without it.

What is sent to Widgeteer (https://app.widgeteer.ai)

  • Your email address and one-time code, when you sign in. The sign-in token you get back is stored encrypted on your site.
  • Your description of the widget and the address your site receives submissions on, when you generate a widget.
  • Your change request, when you edit a widget with AI.
  • The fields a visitor fills in, when they submit a widget form, so the service can deliver them (for example by email or to a connected tool).
  • Requests for your widgets, actions, activity and current plan, when you open those screens.

Plans and payment (https://app.widgeteer.ai/billing/)

  • The plugin never takes payment. Its „See plans” links open the Widgeteer web app in a new tab, and the link carries your connected email address so the sign-in form there is filled in for you. Nothing is sent until you follow the link.
  • If you buy a plan there, the payment is processed by Stripe on app.widgeteer.ai. The plugin never sees your card details. Stripe’s terms: https://stripe.com/legal. Stripe’s privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy.

What visitors’ browsers load (https://cdn.widgeteer.ai)

  • Each widget, and the script and styles that display it, are loaded from the Widgeteer CDN when a page containing a widget is viewed. The same happens in the editor and the plugin’s preview, which runs the widget in a sandboxed frame cut off from your WordPress dashboard. As with any web request, the CDN sees the visitor’s IP address, browser and the address of the page. No form contents are sent in those requests.

The service is operated by Widgeteer. Terms of service: https://widgeteer.ai/terms/. Privacy policy: https://widgeteer.ai/privacy-policy.

Development

The plugin’s admin screens are built with Vite from the source files in frontend/src/. To rebuild them, install Bun, then run bun install --frozen-lockfile and bun run build in the frontend/ folder (frontend/bun.lock pins every dependency). The output goes to assets/admin/. The third-party libraries they include are listed in frontend/package.json and frontend/bun.lock: React and React DOM, Tailwind CSS, daisyUI, react-day-picker and @cfworker/json-schema (MIT), react-jsonschema-form (Apache-2.0), and their dependencies. The block editor script in blocks/widget/ and the widget loader in public/widget/ are not built; they ship as written.
