Usage
1. How to Enable/Disable:
* Go to Settings > Coming Soon.
* Use the top toggle „Enable Coming Soon Mode” to turn the page on or off.
* Blue = Active (Visitors see Coming Soon page), Grey = Disabled (Site is live).
2. Designing the „Glass” Effect:
* Go to the Design tab.
* Upload a high-quality Background Image.
* Adjust Content Opacity (try 85%) and Background Blur (try 10px) to create the frosted glass look.
3. Setting up the Countdown & Auto-Launch:
* Go to the Elements tab.
* Check „Enable Timer” and pick your launch date/time.
* Important: Check „Auto-Launch” if you want the plugin to automatically disable itself when the timer hits zero.
4. Sharing with Clients (Secret Access):
* Go to the Advanced tab.
* Enter a secret keyword (e.g., preview) in the Bypass Keyword field.
* Save changes and copy the „Magic Link” generated below the field. Anyone with this link can see the real site.
5. Adding Tracking (GA4/Pixel):
* Go to the Advanced tab.
* Paste your code into the Header Scripts box. It will only load on the Coming Soon page.

Instalacja
- Upload the
simple-coming-soonfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory. - Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
- Navigate to Settings > Coming Soon to configure your page.
- Check „Enable Coming Soon Mode” and click „Save Settings”.

Q: Why can I still see my website after enabling the plugin?

A: The plugin is designed to allow Administrators to see the real site so you can keep working on it. To see what visitors see, please check your site in an Incognito/Private browser window.

Q: How do I let my client see the site without giving them a login?

A: Use the Secret Client Access feature in the Advanced tab. Set a keyword, save, and send them the generated URL. They will be „whitelisted” via a browser cookie.

Q: My background or colors aren’t changing when I save.

A: This is usually caused by a caching plugin (like WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache). Please clear your site cache after saving settings. We have built-in code to tell most caching plugins „DO NOT CACHE” the coming soon page, but a manual clear is sometimes needed.

Q: Does the Countdown Timer work in all timezones?

A: Yes, the timer uses your WordPress Site Time (set in Settings > General) to calculate the remaining distance.

Q: Will this hurt my Google ranking?

A: No. Unlike simple redirects, this plugin sends a 503 Service Unavailable header. This tells Google that the site is temporarily down for maintenance and to come back later, preserving your SEO.

A: Go to the Design tab and use the Font Style dropdown. We have pre-loaded popular Google Fonts like Poppins, Inter, and Merriweather.
