Opis

With Search & Replace you can search for everything and replace this with everything but before you do this you can easily create a simple database backup and restore it.

For avoiding problem please keep in mind that this plugin search and replace strictly what is specified in „Replace With”.
Common error example:
Search For: http://web.com/wordpress/
Replace With: http://neuweb.com/wordpress
The url become something like: http://neuweb.com/wordpresscontent/…

Correct „Replace with”:
Search For: http://web.com/wordpress/
Replace With: http://neuweb.com/wordpress/
The url become something like: http://neuweb.com/wordpress/content/…

We have implemented special features!

plugin searches and replaces character string and creates a new database, which you need to download, then import. The database that plugin created could not be imported by plugin. Message says that the file is not a valid sql file. Kinda dumb workflow, but not being able to import a sql file that was created by plugin is ridiculous

When selecting many tables for the search, I often got errors. Another similar plugin doing the exact job did not give me errors.

When using the free version this tool just shows you what could be replaced and doesn’t actually make any changes..False advertising, wasting peoples time 🙁

Can’t understand why anyone would give the plugin less than 5 stars. Does exactly what it is designed for and does it well. Use with caution and always do a dry run first. Inspect the provided log and enjoy 🙂 Thanks to author for sharing with the community.
