Instalacja
- Upload the
associate-attachmentfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.

一度整理するとしばらく使う機会はないかもしれませんが、サイトの規模が大きくなればなるほど重宝するプラグインです。不要画像を整理できたおかげで、ファイル容量とデータベースを大幅に削減できました。

WordPressも投稿整理でアイキャッチ画像の削除・変更・再添付を繰り返していると、投稿画面でアイキャッチ画像を設定しても、メディアライブラリでは『未添付』のまま、投稿IDに紐付けられない現象が出てきます。
メディアファイルが何百枚と存在する場合、とても手動で対応できないので、こちらのプラグインが非常に助けになります。
びっくりするほど簡単なので、お困りの方はぜひお試し下さい。
若干の紐付けエラーは生じますが、許容範囲です。当方の事例では、4000枚中、10点ほどでした。
