Opis
Badawy App Launcher adds configurable mobile-app launch buttons to WordPress through the [badawy_app_launcher] shortcode.
Configure separate iPhone/iPad and Android deep links, store URLs, a web fallback, and the fallback delay under Settings > App Launcher. The plugin does not contact a remote service, collect analytics, or include third-party code.
Whether a mobile app opens depends on the app’s own deep-link configuration. For the most reliable experience, configure Apple Universal Links and Android App Links in the mobile applications and on the associated website.
Instalacja
- Upload the
badawy-app-launcherfolder to/wp-content/plugins/or install its ZIP. - Activate Badawy App Launcher.
- Open Settings > App Launcher.
- Enter the app deep links and store URLs.
- Add
[badawy_app_launcher]to a post, page, or widget that supports shortcodes.

Can a website determine whether the app is installed?

Browsers do not provide a fully reliable, privacy-safe installation check. The plugin attempts the configured deep link and then uses the appropriate store or web fallback after a short delay.

Does this create Universal Links or Android App Links?

No. Those links also require configuration in the iOS and Android applications and association files on the website. This plugin renders the launch button and handles browser fallback behavior.
