Problem z Read more na stronie statycznej

Witam,

Chcę aby tag more można było wstawić w statycznej stronie, nie tylko wpisach. W google znalazłem, że należy w pliku index.php szablonu wstawić takie coś

// kod powyżej musi być wstawiony przed the_content()

ale w tym pliku nie mogę znaleźć odpowiedniego miejsca gdzie należy to wstawić
