Having High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) support is essential for any modern WooCommerce plugin, especially for businesses focused on optimizing performance and scalability. Unfortunately, the Sendcloud plugin has consistently been the only bottleneck in our setup due to its lack of HPOS compatibility. This incompatibility has led to numerous issues, hindering our ability to fully leverage WooCommerce’s latest advancements.Having HPOS support for a plugin like this is crucial, and we run into many many issues where Sendcloud is the only bottleneck because of their lack of HPOS compatibility.

A stable and fast platform, but very hard to get human support. The chatrobot is pre-programmed. You cannot ask questions. So keep that in mind.

Nearly a year after the introduction of HPOS and the announcement of the legacy API being discontinued, Sendcloud still hasn’t managed to move their plugin to API V3. Everyone else managed to do that within weeks, so it is hard to understand how this can take so long… The issue is that not supporting API V3 means, WooCommerce needs to be run in HPOS compatibility mode, which removes all speed advantages of HPOS, as two orders tables need to be maintained in the database.
