Went through several other plugins before finding this one! Easy to use and worked great for the very simple requirements I had. Just photos in a grid that, when hovered over, show a title and a blurb over a colored background. If it had been the first of the 8 or 10 I tried I would have simply stopped right there, saving me hours of implementation and testing with other plugins that didn't make the grade for one reason or another. I was looking particularly for a free plugin that did the hover thing with photos, and the free features of this plugin did the trick. I may or may not go to the Pro version in the future, but my thanks to the developer who created a free version that actually works properly and has enough features to be used properly in the non-Pro version. Highly recommend this plugin!

I am using this plugin to create grid gallery style portfolio page, with each image linking to a case study page. I especially appreciate this plugin's balance of simplicity and customization. I have tried over 20 other image hover plugins and portfolio plugins. This one fit my needs the best in terms of 1) having a simple fade-in effect 2) the ability to paste short codes throughout my site 3) completely responsive. This plugin is not completely perfect just yet, and I did find a few kinks. However, Rameez was very responsive and helped me through them. This is a very strong first version of the plugin, and I expect it to hit a solid 5 stars in future versions. Highly recommended.
