Your existing hosted forms provide conditional logic, multi-step questions and private file uploads according to your FormBuilder plan. This plugin connects to the external FormBuilder service. A FormBuilder account is required for account-based selection. Create a separate API key with only forms: read in https://formbuilder.com/settings (API & Integrations). The key is sent to https://api.formbuilder.com when connecting or refreshing the form picker. It is stored encrypted using your WordPress authentication salt; rotating that salt requires reconnecting. Site administrators can replace or remove it. Editors can select public forms without seeing the key. PHP OpenSSL is required for connection storage. Visitors viewing a form connect to https://formbuilder.com. Their submissions and files go directly to that service, not the WordPress database or media library. WordPress does not receive private response data. Embedded forms may use other services configured on the form, including payment or spam prevention services. Review your form configuration and privacy notice before publishing. The hosted service enforces current form availability on every visit. ### Are submissions or attachments copied to WordPress? No. They stay in FormBuilder and retain its access controls. ### Can I use multiple forms or mobile pages? Yes. Every block has its own selection and height. The iframe uses the available width and scrolls for longer forms. An accessible new-tab link is included.
