Yes, right now the plugin only looks for periods, which when combined inside quotations or parentheses can generate unusual tweets. This will be fixed in future versions.

As the FAQ mentions, some punctuation throws this off a little, but even with that glitch, this idea is still wonderful. Great timesaver, but also it is fantastic for getting past that „what should I tweet” moment.
