Even though I’m still in the middle of testing the full Event Prime bundle with all extensions in preparation for our December 6th event , I felt the need to leave a review before we have it live. It is rare that a software plugin company responds each and every time you have a question or an ask. I must say that Event Prime certainly does respond with well thought out answers and solutions. They seem to truly care about each and every customer and even offers (for a fair price I’m sure) customization to fit each clients needs should you need a specific feature not on the current version. So far we don’t need customization because their software has already thought of all the scenarios for customers to buy event tickets and at a better price than the competition. We are still in the middle of finalizing and I will post another review later after we are live. I’m sure I will have nothing but great things to say since so far they have been exemplary in providing quick responsive support.

I’ve been researching this plugin for a client and have had a number of interactions with the team at Metagauss to discuss enhancements and tweaks to fit the client brief. I have to say they have gone above and beyond what I expected. They’ve implemented more granular event/booking start/end times at my request which means the plugin is now a viable option for my use case. Not only that, the support they have provided has been the best I’ve ever received. I sent one email asking for the start/end time change and they proactively sent me updates on when this would be added to their release schedule. What other developer does that?! Great team to work with and the plugin is pretty awesome too!

I’m an early adopter of WordPress, starting in 2004. Over the years I have used several calendar and event plugins, first as a full-time touring musician on my official website, and more recently as a founding board member of a non-profit corporation, Co-Opportunities, Incorporated, parent organization of the Bee Tree Folk School, The Bee Hive, Bee Tree Audio Visual, and The Simpson-Vassar Museum, located in Weiser, Idaho.
Far too often, when my most recent plugin provider had and update, it killed our ability to sell tickets to classes and events. These sales are part of what allows us to continue supporting our local community. The frustrating part is the fact that help inquiries took an average of four days to receive a reply, which started a series of email conversations and many hours of trying this and that on our site until another update fixed the issue.
I became frustrated and moved to another well-known events plugin, which was considerably more expensive, only to find that it was not intuative, and that I had to use child themes and php to get it anywhere near to what our needs are. Before my thirty day trial was over, I asked for a refund and cancelled my membership. (still waiting for that refund…) If I was a code jockey and a nerd, I might have loved it, but we have a business to run.
This brings us to EventPrime. I purchased the „Professional” version and within a few days, upgraded to the „Business” version. (Yes, you can upgrade, mid-stream!) I was amazed at how intuative the plugin and extension are to install and modify to our needs! (If you are a wordpress newbee, it might be a bit intimidating, but they have comprehensive installation and customization guides online.) I had a fully functional events calendar and ticketing solution up and running in about two hours. I’m at the stage where I’m actually reading the guides for advice on how to make it even better for our organization.
The front-end is user friendly, event creation time is cut in half and reports work like a charm.
I want to also note that my JetPack performance scores jumped up by 50% after switching to EventPrime on both the desktop and mobile scores.
I’ll check back in after I’ve had more time to fine tune, but THIS PLUGIN Rocks!

This plugin has lots of functionality, both for venue websites and for performer websites. Almost as important is the very fast and helpful response from tech support when I had some style conflict issues with my website’s theme. Good code and good support should always sit behind any plugin!

The product is great with many extensions available to enhance the functionality even further. It has been extremely easy for the members on my website to book events using this plugin. The support is also responsive and helpful. I decided not to renew my license as I run a small friends only website (about 15 people) for organising our social gatherings and therefore I wanted to minimise the ongoing cost of maintaining the website. I reached out to the support team about this and they were extremely helpful and professional despite my query being about not renewing my license. I want to emphasise that my decision not to renew is nothing to do with the product, it has been an extremely useful product. If you want to add event planning to your website then I do recommend this plugin!

I decided to move to EventPrime after using a different plugin. The other plugin I used was not user friendly and had very little supportive documents. When messaging support staff and forums with queries it would take weeks to respond. I have found this to be the opposite with EventPrime, Amazing user friendly interface, and the support is exceptional with my queries being responded to extremely promptly and with very helpful replies. They also appear to be very cooperative with feedback and consider your feedback. So far I can not fault event prime, and it is nice to find a plugin that is supportive and helpful. This makes set up and day to day use a lot easier and faster. Thank you
