The developer went above and beyond to help me with a strange (to me) site migration issue that I'm not even sure is within the scope of support. And the features are staggeringly extensive. Messages, files, conversation names and profiles cannot be read or changed on the way * Improved online statuses on the WebSocket version: a page now gets the status of the people it shows, not of everyone on the site, which cuts most of the realtime traffic of busy sites. Someone coming online still shows at once * Improved page loads and reconnects on the WebSocket version: the realtime server keeps the last 5 minutes of every conversation (encrypted), so reloading, opening another page of the site or coming back to the messenger on a phone no longer asks your site for updates, and messages missed meanwhile show at once * Improved the JavaScript API for online statuses: `BetterMessages.getOnlineUsers()` and a callback on the `better_messages_user_online`, `better_messages_user_offline` or `better_messages_online_users_loaded` hook get the status of everyone
